Box Office update of Den of Thieves and 12 strong

So the First major Action releases of the year is out . Before we get into the numbers let us start by telling you that at the start of the year no one really heads to the Cinema halls as they have spent most of their disposable income during Christmas and new years however when it comes to Action there’s a whole different audience that will make their way down to the Cinema halls to catch a big screen experiance.

Den of Thieves Starring Jerry Butler is a good old fashion cops vs robbers story only mounted on a big scale. Produced by STX entertainment the film has opened to a first frame domestic of 16 million USD on 2432 theaters. The film is the number 3 film on the  domestic chart. Internationally the film has had it’s first mini role out and it has added another 7 million. Taking it’s numbers to 23 million in total. Made on a modest budget of 35 million the film is well on it’s way to being a hit..

The Second release 12 strong produced by Legendary producer Jerry Bruckheimer and Starring Chris Hemsworth has opened to a 17 million domestic and has added on another 10 million international. Taking it’ s total to 27 million on 3000 plus theaters.  There was a major patriotic Crowd turnout along with older males the film is targeted at primarily at American Audiences and will score best in the domestic market.  Sixty-five percent of the audience will recommend the feature adaptation of Doug Stanton’s Horse Soldiers to their friends. The slim minority of under 18ers at 6% gave 12 Strong its best CinemaScore grade of A+   making it a better score than Michel bay’s 13 hours.

Both films are running strong and will prove to be winners at the Box office.

We at amdb.in wish the entire team all the very best.
