Micheal Bay’s Transformers is all set to get a reboot. The franchise that grossed over 4 million world wide made 5 movies in total is getting revamped.
Paramount who’s the studio behind the film made a Spin off in 2018’s “Bumblebee,” a coming-of-age tale that was produced on a much smaller budget than other “Transformers” films.
The Spin off went very well with audiences, grossing $465 million worldwide and opening up a new opportunity to continue the franchise, with the studio now expanding the “Transformers” universe with the development of two scripts.
One by James Vanderbilt and one by Joby Harold. Vanderbilt is known for writing films like White house Down , the amazing Spider man and Independence Day resurgence and Joby Harold is known for King Arthur by Guy Ritchie and the Upcoming Army of the Dead for Zack Snyder .
Keeping both the writers sensibility in Mind it’s clear that the film will be a commercial pot boiler and one people will look forward to.
No directors have been attached to either script and it’s also likely that both projects will feature brand-new casts for the film. However our sources tell us that the Studio is going down the route of trying to hire the Bad boys for life directors for the film.
Hasbro has backed the franchise always as has Paramount. Though the Legend Micheal Bay has moved onto other franchise and his next is said to be about a Robot apocalypse he Still might feature on as a producer.
