The Old Guard is about to debut on Netflix in the next 4 days, the final trailer is out will it give Netflix a banging start to it’s third quarter or will it not let’s find out.
The story focuses on a pack of mercenaries who are all secretly centuries-old immortals able to heal from any wound, but are forced to live alone and avoid relationships to protect their secret.
Just as they find another immortal who has “awakened”, they realize someone is onto their secret and have to fight for their freedom before their new enemy figures out how to replicate their powers.
The film is based on the acclaim graphic novel of the same which was written and illustrated by Greg Rucka and did extremely well and has been published through 2017 till 2020.
The first trailer received a B + Score with 2100 trend tracks , the final trailer has received an A score with 3400 trend tracks.
The spike in tracking was happening when Charlize Theron was coming on screen. The reason for the Average A score is that they haven’t packed the action like they did with Extraction and Six underground.
Directed By Gina Prince Bythewood the film is stunt coordinated by Adam Kirley the man responsible for the Kingsman Franchise .
The film stars Charlize Theron as Andy, a warrior who leads a covert group of mercenaries with a mysterious inability to die and have committed to protect the mortal world for centuries.
The film CO stars Marwan Kenzari, Luca Marinelli, Harry Melling, Van Veronica Ngo, with Matthias Schoenaerts and Chiwetel Ejiofor.
Set to hit Netflix on the 10 th of July the film is all set to open to 35 million views .
