87 North is all set to remake the Hong Kong Cult Actioner Yuhang Ho Mrs K for the English speaking and understanding Audience….

“Mrs K” is a story of a woman who gives everything that she has to protect her husband and daughter when enemies from her past come hunting her.

Mishna Wolff, best known for her memoir, I’m Down, is set to write the screenplay to keep with the emotion of the film and another writer will be coming on board to write the Action and pacing as per pur sources…

The film is all set to be distributed by Universal Studios where 87 north has a first look deal after the production house created the extremely successful Nobody for the Studio that was made on a budget of 15 million and grossed a 157 million world wide…

Universal EVP of Production Jay Polidoro will oversee the project for the studio. Guy Danella and Max Jacoby will oversee for 87North.

87North’s next movie to hit the big screen is Universal’s Violent Night on Dec. 2 that stars Stranger things Star David Harbour who plays a very violent Santa Clause….
