Danny Boyle who won the Academy award for Slum Dog Millionaire was the talk of the town and boy did he land a big big film. Boyle was all set to collaborate with Daniel Craig for the latest installment of Bond 25.
The film is particularly special as this could very well be the last time Craig plays the super sexy secret agent. Craig had bid adieu to the project , however producer Barbara Broccoli and MGM convenient him to return one last time.
The project was the talk of tinsel town , however now the shocking news comes that the man to wield the microphone has exited the film.
Barbara Broccoli announced that Boyle had exited as director from the film. The Reason for the exit was “creative differences ”
The News will definitely impact the film in a few ways and that is stated below.
Boyle is an academy award winner and will respected film maker , if he had creative inputs which were not adapted into the film that doesn’t say too much on the quality of script.
However keeping with the success of the franchises the producers clearly know their audience and know to cater to them , so that doesn’t speak too much on Boyle ‘s large scale sensibility..
Now that the director has exited , a valid replacement will take time. U.S. distributor MGM had already set a November 8, 2019 release date for the film and it could well be that the dates will be pushed.
Boyle’s Trainspotting partner John Hodge wrote based on an idea by Boyle, clearly the producers aren’t happy and that could mean a rewrite which could again impact the release.
Though a few names are considered amdb has learn’t that Matthew Vaugn ( kingsman ) has been approached to direct .
Vaughn has previously collaborated with Craig on Layer Cake. However Vaughn has his own spy franchise it’s not too clear if he will be interested.
Whatever it maybe , this spells big trouble for Bond 25.
We at amdb.in wish the entire team all the very best.
