Breaking- Ed Skrein Replaces Rupert Friend In Zack Snyder’s Rebel moon

Rebel moon is all the hype with Director Zack Snyder coming off the success of Army of the Dead and Army of thieves . The Streaming Giant that has seen it’s Stock tumble of late has a lot pinned on this film . However the latest casting woos could cause a hiccup for the Platform.

The film that boasts of a Steller Cast from Charlie Hunnam to Djimon Hounsou, Doona Bae, Ray Fisher and others has got one casting change.

Rupert Friend whom we have seen in Action Movies Like Agent 47 has exited the project due to apprently ” Conflict of Dates” and now has been Swiftly replaced by : Ed Skrein. Skrein who has had his taste of success with major Action films like Deadpool, The transporter and Alita Battle Angel will be a fine addition to the cast.

Rebel Moon is set in a peaceful colony on the edge of the galaxy that finds itself threatened by the armies of the tyrannical Regent Balisarius who wants to conqour all, The planet dispatches a young woman (Boutella) with a mysterious past to seek out warriors from neighboring planets to help them make a stand.

Skrein will be playing the film’s principal antagonist, details with regard to the characters the other new cast members will be playing have not been disclosed.

Snyder’s Stone Quarry has a first look deal with Netflix and Rebel moon is the first of that collaboration… The film is written by Snyder along with Shay Hatten (Army of the Dead) and Kurt Johnstad (300).

The team has shared images of the Art work and from the looks of it it’s going to be an Epix journey for fans …
