Breaking- H Collective and China Streaming Giants Iqiyi enter a 3 Action picture deal

Iqiyi are by far the biggest players in China in the Streaming Space and though China is known predominately for its action cinema that is more in the space of Wu Xia they now seem to want to expand their wings a tad wider.

The H Collective and the streaming Ginats have set a three-picture co-production and distribution deal. The first film under the pact will be action comedy Counter Spy which is currently being rewritten by former Marvel exec Craig Kyle who wrote the very successful Thor: Ragnarok

Counter Spy follows a barista at the CIA headquarters’ Starbucks in Langley, Virginia. He has the highest security coffee job in the world and loves being close to the action. However, when he’s accidentally tangled up in a secret mission with an old-school CIA agent and his Chinese counterparts, his fantasy of the spy life turns real.

The partnership could be rather fruitful as The H collective is making bold bold moves . The H Collective recently recently acquired the xXx franchise from Revolution Studios with Vin Diesel’s One Race Films. Diesel will reprise his role as Xander Cage for director D.J. Caruso in xXx 4.

The Other 2 films also being Action hybrid with Action thriller being the next of the 3 film deal. It looks like the Studio is trying to go down the route of Legendary films  .

On the first deal the digital giants will handle Theatrical and OTT distribution.

We at amdb.in wish the entire team all the very best.
