Breaking- MGM comes on Board Stallone’s home production the Dark Superhero Movie ‘Samaritan

MGM is home for Sylvester Stallone the studio that was formally known as RKO were the first people to green light Rocky that made Stallone the massive Star he is and now once again the prodigal son returns home.

MGM has been Struggling for a while and with it’s fading Stock prices and one Major franchise to back “Bond” MGM is in desperate need to lock another massive franchise and Stallone seems to have the answer.

MGM has acquired the original spec script, Samaritan,  though one knows very little on the  plot details the pic has been described as a dark, fresh take on the superhero genre one in the  space of Hancock .

The film is written The Escape room writer bragi schut along with Sylvester Stallone. The synergy between these 2 people will make it an interesting combination to the genre.

Stallone who had earlier found a home in Millennium NU Image is keen to make a home once again at MGM as he has not one but 3 film with the Studio.

A biopic on the iconic boxer Jack Johnson, the first African American heavyweight champion. In addition, Stallone and Aftergood have lined up projects like Hunter, an adaptation based on James Byron Huggins’s novel about skillful tracker Nathaniel Hunter, Ghost: My Thirty Years as an FBI Undercover Agent.

A memoir by 30-year FBI veteran Michael McGowan and Ralph Pezzullo, and a film set in the world of special ops written by retired Army Ranger Max Adams.

It’s going to be interesting to see how this plays out but Stallone is keen to make his Balboa productions into a major player in the Action genre.

We at amdb.in wish the entire team all the very best.
