Frank Miller’s Sin city is a cult Graphic Novel that was made into a cult film by Robert Rodriguez . Now the film will have Series of it’s own.
The deal is close with original director Robert Rodriguez, which would reteam the duo that co-directed the stylish and memorable 2005 film.
The story follows a mysterious salesman (Josh Hartnett) who narrates a tragic story of co-dependency, while a musclebound vigilante (Mickey Rourke) tears his way through the criminal underworld in search of his lost love (Jaime King).
In another part of the city, a grizzled cop (Bruce Willis) foils the ambitions of a child-killer (Nick Stahl), and an ex-prostitute (Brittany Murphy) evades her ex-pimp (Benicio Del Toro) with the help of her new boyfriend, Dwight (Clive Owen).
Miller and Rodriguez are executive producers with Legendary Television along with Stephen L’Heureux, a producer of the 2014 sequel Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, and Silenn Thomas, who heads Miller’s production company.
The prospect of Miller and Rodriguez reteaming to creatively guide this anthology series ought to get fans excited.
