FABRICATED CITY: S. KOREAN FILM is a Perfect Fabrication

If you are fans of Christopher Nolan’s Inception, then this one’s for you. It is super-confusing, but in an awesome way.

Set in the world of online video games, this film will mess with your mind. Directed by South Korea’s Park Kwang-Hyun, Fabricated City opens with a scene within a scene, a fabrication inside a reality. That reality is knocked out just as quickly as viewers get used to it, revealing a third fabrication. It’s an illusion and just as you prepare for more, you think you imagined it all. By the end, the situation has gotten even more complicated, raising the question: is this reality true?  Maybe it’s all actually a dream. Maybe it’s all just a fabrication. Starring Ji Chang-wook, Shim Eun-kyung and Ahn Jae-hong, this film has done extremely well at the box-office and won some awards.

Quite a brain-teaser!
