Guy Pearce Replaces Michael Sheen in Bloodshot

Guy Pearce is a fine talent that can be molded into any part he gets , He was fantastic as the mandarin in Iron Man 3 and looks like he has another Super Hero film he’s a part of.

Guy Pearce is in talks to replace Michael Sheen in Sony and Cross Creek Pictures co-production “Bloodshot” based on the Valiant comic.

Bloodshot is a former soldier with powers of regeneration and meta-morphing made possible through nanites injected into his blood. After having his memory wiped numerous times, Bloodshot is out to discover who he really is and get vengeance on those who did this to him.

Bloodshot’s bloodstream contains a billion nanocomputers, enabling him to heal from injuries quickly, interface with technology, and shape shift his mass.

starring Vin Diesel The pic also stars Eiza Gonzalez ( baby driver). Sheen was forced to leave the film due to scheduling, and the studio was quick to act to find a replacement in Pearce.

The studio is expanding it’s Super Hero Universe  and would be moving forward with its five-film shared universe plan, based on the Valiant comic books like  “Harbinger” and “Bloodshot.

Pearce would play Dr. Emil Harting, the genius responsible for the nanotechnology that exists inside the human body to not only repair it, but push it further than normal human limitations.

Fast and the Furious’” Neal Moritz and Toby Jaffe are producing .  Dave Wilson, who is “Deadpool” director Tim Miller’s partner at Blur Studio, is attached to direct.
