Highlander reboot set to start pre production in Fall 2018

For those who don’t know Highlander was a classic for people who grew up in the 90’s .  Summit Entertainment acquired the rights in 2008. It is a new take on the feature, which was originally released in 1986, starring Christopher Lambert and Sean Connery, and telling the story of an immortal Scottish swordsman who can only be killed by decapitation.

However the project was in Limbo as multiple directors came on and off it. 10 years later the film has finally found it’s director and it is none other than John Wick director  Chad Stahelski and is set to be produced by the very acclaimed Neal H. Moritz.

Ryan Condal who has written the script and delivered it to lions gate is also developing  Conan The Barbarian for Amazon.

The director said the show  and  John Wick has a lot in common.  He said he was creating the world and the mythology of immortals and had his 87 eleven stunt team already working on the action pieces.

We at amdb.in wish the entire team all the very best.
