The summer is getting bigger for Hollywood, and this year seems to be the biggest as every tent pole has crossed the 500 million usd mark (besides Alice as it wasn’t an action film) . Just when we thought the best was over, we were wrong cause coming soon is Roland Emmrich’s Independence day Resurgence . From the first promo the film’s scale looked massive but the last extended trailer has blown me away. Emmrich with his long history of world destruction feature films, seems to have taken his passion on another level. This film could easily be compared to star wars the force awakens. The visuals are breath taking and the stunts (mostly CGI) are breath taking. The film could easily be in the race of the biggest opening of the summer challenging Captain America Civil war ‘s FSS. Wither it beats it or not is not of the importance , what is important is that the film will be a monster hit . With the Luke warm response to X Men . The tide shall change for 20th Century Fox. More power to Jim Gianopolis and the entire team.
