Wolf Warriors one was the film that got Scott Adkins into the lime light in China. The film was a surprise hit and made lots of money at the domestic Box Office. It Changed Adkins fate in China and From the looks of the Sequel it will do the same for Frank Grillo who stars in the Sequel titled Wolf Warriors .
Directed by Wu Jing ( who also directed the original Wolf Warrior) The film Stars Olympic gymnast Zou Kai, Celina Jade Hans Zhang and Frank Grillo.
The film takes place in war torn Africa and the main conflict lies between Zhang and Grillo. The trailer looks way better than the original and has a larger than life feel with good production value. The explosions ( mostly CGI) are well executed . The movie looks well shot and will definitely draw audiences to the cinema hall for sure.
Wu has got Hong Kong veteran Jack Wong ( stunt coordinator) and Sam Hargrave (fight coordinator ) to bump the action.
Grillo who is close to the Russo Brother ( directors of Captain America – Civil war) has asked them to give their valuable inputs to the project.
Set to hit theaters in August the film will definitely be the best opening For a Chinese film that month.
