Black Panther will be the eighteenth film installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The super-hero film revolves around the story of T’Challa who, after the events of Captain America: Civil War, returns home to become king of his technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda, but his strength as king and as black panther is tested.
Chadwick Boseman debuted as Black Panther in Captain America: Civil War, where he goes out for revenge after his father is murdered in a terrorist attack. At the end of the film we see him grant Captain America and his new teammates sanctuary in Wakanda. In the film, hT’Challa is shown displaying peak-human speed, agility, strength, and durability. His suit has retractable claws and is made of a vibranium weave, which deflects small arms fire.
In case you didn’t know, here’s the background story of the Black Panther: T’Challa debuted in a comic issue of Fantastic Four in 1966 and was the first black superhero in mainstream American comics. By day he’s the king of Wakanda, by night, he battles Dr. Doom.
