Neilsen the 6 ft 1 inch Danish Bomb and also the Ex wife of Sly Stallone will forever be remember as Red Sonja.
However the franchise soon Faded away, and people forgot all about it. Marvel too who was the Original Publisher did not think it was much of A franchise to take forward in their MCU. There were talks that Robert Rodriguez was planning to reboot the film and they even launched a first looks , but those talks too faded away.
It is now confirmed that Millennium films will be Re booting the Character as they are extending their franchises .The project will be produced by Millennium’s Avi Lerner and Joe Gatta alongside cinelou’s Mark Canton and Courtney Solomon.
So excited they are to launch the film that a massive hunt is on for the writer and director to package the film. Chairman of Millennium Avi Lerner gave a statement that they were waiting for the right time to make the movie and the success of wonder women and other women oriented action films have prompted this speedy decision .
The film’s executive producers will be Millennium Films’ Boaz Davidson, John Thompson and Trevor Short. Red Sonja is n this story, Red Sonja lives with her family in a humble house in the Western Hyrkanian steppes (this seems to be in modern Ukraine/Russia though historical hyrcania is on the borders of modern Iran/Turkmenistan). When she is just 17, a group of mercenaries kills her family and burns down their house. Sonja attempts to defend herself, but can not lift her brother’s sword. She is brutally raped by the leader of the group. Answering her cry for revenge, the red goddess scathach appears to her, and gives her incredible fighting skills, on the condition that she never lie with a man unless he defeats her in fair combat.
