The director of Raid and Raid 2 Gareth Evans was all set to direct the Death Stroke Standalone film , however since the news has broken there hasn’t been any other detail until now.
Evans who has just finished his next action thriller for Netflix spoke to a daily and gave the update on it.
He said he had a phone call which was publicized a bit, about Deathstroke with DC.”
He added thatNothing really went beyond those conversations. and he hasn’t heard anything for a really long time,”
He added every time he saw an article written he keep wanting to ask, what the media knew Because he had not heard anything for a good while .
He said he had not spoken to Warner in a while. However the Studio is confident on Making a Death stroke film.
He further added that he loved Joe Manganiellos’s Guest appearance in Justice league and thought he would make an amazing Death Stroke.
Evans said he was a fan of the film and post his phone call he a few ideas on how to work on the Character of Death stroke. He added he wanted to explore the history of Death Stroke’s Character and his childhood.
amdb has learn’t that another actor was being considered to play death stroke and that was non other than British born King of indie Action films Scott Adkins.
We would love to see a Death stroke film and with Adkins in it, it would be a real boon.
