Dave Bautista is making big bold moves in the Action circuit . He was recently seen in Scott Mann’s final score and though the film didn’t open at the box office well it won a wide subscription at Sky cinema.
Now he has landed in Legendary films Dune . Directed by Denis Villeneuve who was last directed Blade runner 2049 the film stars Timothée Chalamet and Rebecca Ferguson .
The film is set in the far future involving worlds beyond Earth, ruled over by competing feudal families who control access to a drug called Melange.
Known popularly as “spice,” the drug gives its users heightened consciousness and an extended lifespan at the cost of crippling addiction and fatal withdrawal.
Spice, use of which makes interstellar travel possible, is found only on the desert planet of Arrakis — aka “Dune” — and as such is the most valuable commodity in the galaxy
Legendary acquired the rights of the film for 2016. The film is highly respected SIFI franchise and was much in demand .
One can expect the visuals of Blade Runner 2049 and the similar cinematic tone.
Bautista will be next seen in Avenger End game and in Spy an Action comedy .
