This kind of film seems a bit like a blend of\u00a0<strong>District 9\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Transformers<\/strong>, with robot-like alien creatures taking over.<\/p>\n<p>Set in the war-ravaged African countryside, an American soldier (Lee Pace) and a French foreign aid worker (B\u00e9r\u00e9nice Marlohe) teaming up to survive an alien onslaught. As they journey through the battlefield in search of refuge, their bond is tested when the soldier discovers his true identity.\u00a0<strong>REVOLT<\/strong> is an action-packed sci-fi thriller about humankind\u2019s last stand against a cataclysmic alien invasion.The film also includes Amy Louise Wilson,\u00a0Alan Santini, and\u00a0Tom Fairfoot.<\/p>\n<p>The film has some solid VFX work and despite the formulaic script, it seems like an enjoyable sci-fi film.\u00a0<strong>REVOLT<\/strong>\u00a0is directed by American filmmaker\u00a0Joe Miale, a former editor making his feature directorial debut after a number of short films previously, including\u00a0Assassin&#8217;s Creed: Checkmate\u00a0and\u00a0Half-Life: Raise the Bar.
