Produced by the Huayi Brothers, this crime drama stars Duan Yihong (<em>The Dead End<\/em>) as a technician who is left as the sole survivor of an explosion in a mine shaft. When he begins to investigate the incident, some of his fellow miners are murdered and he is framed as the prime suspect. Wang Jingchun (<em>Time Raiders<\/em>) and Yu Nan (<em>The Expendables 2<\/em>) also star in\u00a0<strong>Explosion. <\/strong>It is directed by Chang Zheng.<\/p>\n<p>Influenced by stylish art cinema more than Hollywood, it starts off with quite a bang. Within the mine, a blast goes wrong and sends a flaming fireball racing through the shaft in a brief but effective disaster scene that leaves four workmen dead.
