Brandon Lee’s 1994 classic The Crow is finally set to be remade and get this it stars non other than Aquaman and Khal Drogo Jason Mamoa.<\/p>\n
After languishing in development for 4 years at Relativity Media, which has been going through bankruptcy proceedings The Crow remake has found a distributor in Sony Pictures. Director Corin Hardy may still be involved in the project although further details will be released soon.<\/p>\n
This reboot has had quite the storied history, with our first report on the project dating all the way back to February 2014 when a host of Stars were supposed to star . From\u00a0\u00a0Mark Wahlberg, Bradley Cooper, James McAvoy, Luke Evans and Jack Huston all attached to play Eric Draven throughout the past 3 years .<\/p>\n
The 1994 movie starred Brandon Lee as Eric Draven, based on the iconic comic books by James O Barr. The story followed a rock star Eric Draven, who is killed alongside his fiancee Shelly, the night before their wedding, by a group of street thugs. On the anniversary of their death, Eric rises from the grave and assumes the\u00a0 mantle of the Crow, a supernatural avenger. Tracking down the thugs responsible for the crimes and mercilessly murdering them.<\/p>\n
Jason seems to be the ideal choice for the role and from the looks of his growing popularity the film might finally see the light of the day.<\/p>\n
