There were rumors that Daniel Craig was to walk away from the James Bond Franchise but all those rumors were laid to rest when Craig signed on to play the iconic Character once again.<\/p>\n
Now the news is that train spotting director Danny Boyle has been signed on to direct .<\/p>\n
Boyle has keen interest in the project and has always wanted to direct a Bond film. He is currently developing a project for Working Title, but with no cast currently attached, there is always the possibility of pushing that movie back to direct the 25th installment in the series.<\/p>\n
Boyle has long been in MGM and Eon\u2019s sights to direct a Bond movie, going back to 2012\u2019s \u201cSkyfall\u201d and 2015\u2019s \u201cSpectre.<\/p>\n
Sam Mendes who has directed the previous two installments,and that which became the highest-grossing films in the series, with \u201cSkyfall\u201d bringing in $1.1 billion globally and \u201cSpectre\u201d earning $880 million at the worldwide box office. Mendes said after the most recent Bond movie that he would not continue directing films in the 007 series,<\/p>\n
