Every talented A list Actor who could once draw a global pre Sales and Can’t anymore now is Jumping the Super Hero Band Wagon and the latest added to the group is non other than Jack Gyllenhaal.<\/p>\n

The Oscar-nominated actor is being eyed for Sony and Marvel\u2019s \u201cSpider-Man<\/a>: Homecoming\u201d sequel. He is in talks to play the villain Mysterio.<\/p>\n

For Gyllenhaal, it marks his first time in the comic-book realm. Though over the last decade he has starred in more dramatic fare.<\/p>\n

Tom Holland is returning to play Peter Parker, with Zendaya and Marisa Tomei also coming back for the sequel.<\/p>\n

Jon Watts is\u00a0\u00a0back to\u00a0 directing the Sequel as are writersJonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley<\/a>\u00a0who are penning the script.<\/p>\n

Gyllenhaal was most recently seen in the Sundance pic \u201cWildlife.\u00a0 The Spiderman Sequel will be produced by Kevin Fiege and Sony together and is looking to start production by the end of the year.<\/p>\n
