The 16 time WWE world champion will star alongside Jackie Chan.<\/p>\n<p>Chan will also produce the film, with a team of Joe Tam, Esmond Ren and Hans Canosa. Arash Amel has written the screenplay. The\u00a0<em>Need for Speed<\/em>\u00a0director, Scott Waugh is at the helm of this film. The story is set on a Chinese oil refinery in the Middle East that has come under attack.\u00a0The new movie will see Chan playing a security contractor called in to rescue a group of oil refinery workers trapped in the aftermath of a terrorist attack. Cena will play a Marine-turned-teacher who leaves his job at an orphanage in Iraq to help Chan get oil workers out of danger.<\/p>\n<p>Recently, Cena is becoming a reliable go-to action star. He will next be seen in the\u00a0<strong><em>Transformers<\/em>&#8216;<\/strong> spinoff\u00a0<strong><em>Bumblebee<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Universal&#8217;s\u00a0<strong><em>The Jason Directive<\/em>,<\/strong> which will be produced by Dwayne Johnson.
