About 2 weeks ago , we broke a story on how the Joker was being exploited on multiple platforms and that officially 2 joker films were in the making. The first was to star Jared Leto and the second was to Star Joaquin Phoenix.<\/p>\n

Now it’s official that the first one to go on floor is the film\u00a0 directed by\u00a0 Todd Phillips<\/a>\u00a0titled\u00a0\u00a0“Joker<\/a><\/em>\u00a0origins” It\u00a0 has been officially greenlit by\u00a0Warner Bros<\/a>\u00a0and is said to go on floor\u00a0 in September.<\/p>\n

Warner has had great success with Nolan’s Batman and\u00a0 Heath Ledger portraying the Joker.\u00a0 \u00a0Since The DC Universe has not had much success outside wonder women and SUICIDE Squad DC has planned to launch a new brand to feature DC’s VIllian’s.<\/p>\n

DC is totally revamping it’s cinematic Universe\u00a0 and will be soon introducing a bunch of new Characters like Shazam that opens on April 5th followed by Wonder women.<\/p>\n

James Wan directed AQUAMAN hit’s theaters end of this year.<\/p>\n

Martin Scorsese was to produce the film but has existed the project. Phoenix who is known to be an intense actor has decided to go down the Super Villain route to rebuild his fading career.<\/p>\n
