Anthony Mackie may have exited the Avengers as Falcon however he is still very much in demand and his latest job proves it.<\/p>\n

Anthony Mackie<\/a>\u00a0is taking over for\u00a0Joel Kinnaman<\/a>\u00a0in the second season of Altered Carbon which will be again aired on Netflix.<\/p>\n

In the first season, Kinnaman played\u00a0 the role of Takeshi Kovacs, a soldier in a future world where mortality is a thing of the past \u2013 for a price. A human consciousness can be uploaded into a “stack” and then inserted into a new “sleeve” or body and the person can be reborn.<\/p>\n

Kovacs wakes up hundreds of years after his most recent death in the body of Ryker, police officer framed for a crime he didn’t commit, and must track down the killer and the person who framed him for it.<\/p>\n

At the end of the season, Kovacs surrenders Ryker’s body and assumes a new identity, one kept a mystery for viewers. The mystery is revealed and now he’ll be played by Mackie.<\/p>\n

Genre TV veteran Alison Schapker will serve as co-showrunner with\u00a0Laeta Kalogridis<\/a>, who adapted the Richard K. Morgan novels for the screen.<\/p>\n

Altred Carbon fared well on Netflix and was very received for its visual treat.\u00a0 We are sure season 2 will be bigger.<\/p>\n
