According to Romulus Entertainment, which is producing the movie, the movie follows the story of Stanley, a bare-knuckle boxer, and his younger brother, Lion, struggling to get by as they travel across the country for the next bout. While managing Lion&#8217;s boxing career, Stanley foolishly gambles on each of Lion&#8217;s matches. As Stanley plunges further into debt, we follow their journey together as they attempt to mend their situation. Along the way they meet an unexpected companion (Barden) and she throws the entire brotherly relationship into chaos.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hunnam<\/strong> is popularly known as the star of the FX hit series <strong>Sons of Anarchy<\/strong>. Since that series\u2019 ended, the actor has headlined quite a few films, with little success, including <strong>King Arthur: Legend of the Sword<\/strong>\u00a0and most recently, <strong>Papillon<\/strong>. <strong>O\u2019Connell<\/strong>, on the other hand, has seen his star rise greatly over the last few years with leading roles in <strong>Unbroken<\/strong>\u00a0and recent Netflix series <strong>Godless<\/strong>. <strong>Barden<\/strong> is\u00a0 best known as the lead in the Netflix series <strong>The End of the Fucking World<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jungleland<\/strong> is co-written by Max Winkler, along with\u00a0Theodore B. Bressman\u00a0and\u00a0David Branson Smith.
