Britain has always produced great television and has been one of the few industries to have found success in the Action Genre . They tasted success with Strike Back which Ran into almost 7 seasons and has now found success with Bodyguard. So much success that netflix has decided to lap it up.<\/p>\n

Set\u00a0 around the corridors of power, Bodyguard tells the story of David Budd (Madden), a heroic, but volatile war veteran now working as a Specialist Protection Officer for the Royalty and Specialist Branch (RasP) of London\u2019s Metropolitan Police Service.<\/p>\n

When he is assigned to protect the ambitious and powerful Home Secretary Julia Montague (Hawes), Budd finds himself torn between his duty and his beliefs. Responsible for her safety, could he become her biggest threat?<\/p>\n

The new trailer for the Action political thriller released 12 hours ago and has received 1100 trend tracks with a Solid A score. Not Surprisingly the best trends are emerging from the United States as they recently enjoyed Jack Ryan that got a similar trend track,.<\/p>\n

The limited series is set to open to a 14 million view between the United States and Europe and should be in the 20 million view world wide. The numbers are a tad lower because\u00a0 the show has already premiered in the UK.<\/p>\n
