The Toxic Avenger<\/em>\u00a0centers on Toxie, born when the mild-mannered Melvin from Tromaville, he\u00a0 took a tumble into toxic waste. He\u2019s transmogrified into a repulsive-yet-oddly-endearing mutant hero who stands up to bullies and corruption with radioactive zeal.<\/p>\n

The film is directed by the Legendary micro film Producer\/ director\u00a0s\u00a0Lloyd Kaufman<\/a>\u00a0and Michael Herz of Kaufman\u2019s iconic\u00a0 Troma\u00a0 films.<\/p>\n

Troma is one of those studios that has been in the business for over 35 years and has made multiple films , the model was simple to make movies super cheap and sell them in festivals and recoup a 100 percent of their investment.<\/p>\n

Troma has many such franchises and it a wonderful thing to see their films being remade.\u00a0 Toxic Avenger was made with really bad Special effects however keeping with\u00a0 \u00a0today’s technology it will be interesting to see how it plays out.<\/p>\n
