The film is set in the far future involving worlds beyond Earth, ruled over by competing feudal families who control access to a drug called Melange.<\/p>\n
Known popularly as \u201cspice,\u201d the drug gives its users heightened consciousness and an extended lifespan at the cost of crippling addiction and fatal withdrawal.<\/p>\n
Spice, use of which makes interstellar travel possible, is found only on the desert planet of Arrakis \u2014 aka \u201cDune\u201d \u2014 and as such is the most valuable commodity in the galaxy<\/p>\n
Legendary acquired the rights of the film for 2016. The film is highly respected SIFI franchise and was much in demand .<\/p>\n
One can expect the visuals of Blade Runner 2049 and the similar cinematic tone.<\/p>\n
