He Man and the Masters of the Universe was one of the most popular Cartoon in the late 80’s and early 90’s. However a bad live Action film killed the franchise and soon it was forgotten.<\/p>\n
The once hottest selling Mattel toy was now a thing of the past, however now the franchise will get a serious reboot.<\/p>\n
David Goyer the regular Warner writer who has written movies like Batman Begins and Batman rises along with Man of Steel was to direct the film , however now he will only produce the film along with Warners.<\/p>\n
Though Goyer has moved out of the directing chair he still has a command over who will write the script and he has given the trusted Job to\u00a0Art Marcum and Matt Holloway, writers on 2008’s Iron Man.<\/p>\n
The film is being directed by the Nee Brothers Adam and Aaron who were again Goyer’s pic.<\/p>\n
The 1987 Masters of the Universe produced by Cannon pictures didn’t go down too well though the shows were a major hit.<\/p>\n
The franchise still has monster potential and Goyer is the right man to drive it through. An initial release date of 2019 was in place but now it seems the date has been moved up.<\/p>\n
