Daniel Wu made his name as the Star of Amazon’s biggest Series into the Bad lands and now that has landed him a plum role in Huge Jackman’s next.<\/p>\n

The film is a mind bending noir love story set in the dystopic near future of a nighttime, super heated flooded global warmed Miami. Wu finds himself on opposites sides with Jackman\u2019s character.<\/p>\n

Wu was recently seen in Tomb Raider and is an American, he has starred in over 60 Chinese language films and garnered four Hong Kong Film Award nominations.<\/p>\n

Best New Performer for\u00a0City of Glass (Boli zhi cheng)<\/em>, Best Actor for\u00a0One Night in Mongkok (Wong gok hak yau<\/em>) and Best Supporting Actor (alongside Jackie Chan) in\u00a0New Police Story.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u00a0He also won the prestigious Hong Kong prize as Best Director for his 2006 feature,\u00a0The Heavenly Kings . A multi talented performer he will be a great asset to the film..\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

The film also stars\u00a0\u00a0Cliff Curtis (Training Day, Avatar sequels, Hobbs and Shaw), Angela Sarafyan (Westworld), Marina de Tavira (Roma), Natalie Martinez (Battle At Big Rock, End of Watch),\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Filming will be taking place this fall in New Orleans, Louisiana under the working title Jade Earring with production set to start on October 28th and will wrap on January 24th.<\/em><\/p>\n
