Danny Terjo is one bad ass in Hollywood after playing the famous knife man in Desperado ,Trejo along with his buddy Robert Rodriguez went on to make multiple action films in the Machate\u00a0 franchise.<\/p>\n

After taking a Sabbatical from Hollywood he’s now making a come back.\u00a0 He is all set\u00a0\u00a0to star in actioner\u00a0The Protector<\/em>\u00a0from filmmaker Justin Lee (Badland<\/em>).<\/p>\n

The film is about play\u00a0Ed Morrone who\u00a0leads the film as protagonist Mickey Rome, an ageing protection specialist who is ready to holster his guns and head for retirement.<\/p>\n

When the agency he works for demands one last job be done, Mickey obliges and is sent to Central America to watch a husband and wife who have stolen $8m from a ruthless crime family.<\/p>\n

Director Lee was heard saying in an interview that the film in a homage to\u00a080s films like\u00a0Lethal Weapon, Midnight Run<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a048 Hours<\/em>.<\/p>\n

He added that It had action some comedy and\u00a0 some dark moments he said It was such a joy to get to work in a space he love so much with phenomenal talent.<\/p>\n

The film also co stars\u00a0,\u00a0Billy Zane<\/a>\u00a0(Titanic<\/em>),\u00a0Randy Couture<\/a>\u00a0(The Expendables<\/em>),\u00a0and James Russo (Django Unchained<\/em>) .<\/p>\n

The film is produced by\u00a0\u00a0Justin Lee, and Melanie Young are producing with Vasily Bernhardt of TB Films executive producing.<\/p>\n

These are just the little Gems that are made on a tight budget and are sold internationally for a sweet profit.<\/p>\n
