In the dark days of the entertainment industry with no good news there is a light at the end of the tunnel .\u00a0 James Gunn gives an update on Suicide Squad and Guardians of the\u00a0 Galaxy.<\/p>\n

James Gunn<\/a>\u00a0has not one but two big films on his his plate:\u00a0Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0The Suicide<\/em>\u00a0Squad reboot.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

With multiple delays, postponements and cancellations of productions of TV series and films, there are a lot of question marks\u00a0 about many highly anticipated films and a lot of them are of the superhero genre that bring in the Lions share of business.<\/p>\n

Gunn is helming the DC Comics pic\u00a0The Suicide Squad<\/a><\/em>, the second installment of the film whose first was directed by David Ayer. Action fans will be happy to know that Gunn reassured the August 6, 2021 is still very much in place.<\/p>\n

Gunn informed through his social media that they are ahead of Schedule and there is no cause for concern on moving dates.<\/p>\n

The Suicide Squad<\/em>\u00a0has a steller cast that includes Alice Braga, Michael Rooker, Joaquin Cosio, Mayling Ng, Sean Gunn, Jennifer Holland, Juan Diego Botto, Tinashe Kajese, Julio Ruiz, Pete Davidson, Taika Waititi Nathan Fillion, Steve Agee, Peter Capaldi, and Flula Borg.<\/p>\n

As for Guardians all dates have been shifted . Gunn who was first hired then fired and then re hired on Guardians found a second home in Warner and now has not one but 2 films lined up.<\/p>\n

Marvel’s dates are all over the place\u00a0\u00a0all of the release dates for Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.\u00a0Black Widow<\/em>\u00a0is taking over\u00a0The Eternals<\/em>\u2019 November 6 slot which caused it\u00a0<\/em>to shift to\u00a0 February 12, 2021, moving\u00a0Shang-Chi<\/em>\u00a0moves to May 7, 2021.<\/p>\n

This made\u00a0Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness\u00a0<\/em>move to\u00a0Thor: Love and Thunder<\/em>\u2018s date which caused the God of Thunder to have a debut of February 18, 2022.<\/p>\n
