RIP Andrew Vajna

Today is truly a sad day as one of the greatest Action film producers of all times passed. Andrew Vajna the founder of Carloco pictures passed at the Age of 74.

Vajna founded Carloco Pictures with then Partner Mario Kassar and were once known as one of the most successful Producers In La La Land.

Some of the films produced by Vajna was Rambo , Terminator 2 Judgement Day , Total Recall, Iron Eagle 2 , Universal Soldier , Cliff Hanger and Terminator 3 Rise of the Machines .

After the collapse of Carloco Andrew moved to his home town of Hungry where he worked closely with the Prime Minister to revive the film industry and structure the Tax Rebates to make it a shooting Paradise.

Vajna was born in Budapest in 1944 but soon moved to the United States where he made his mark as a major Motion Picture producer of Action films.

The true respect of a man is shown when he is no more and tweets about him from his fellow industry friends prove what a person he was .

James Cameron Tweeted “Andy Vajna was a great friend and collaborator. He believed in me on one of my toughest shoots, Terminator 2. I will miss him, his humor, class and style, but especially the motorcycle rides”

Arnold Schwarzenegger tweeted ” Andy Vajna was a dear friend and a revolutionary force in Hollywood. He proved that you don’t need studios to make huge movies like Terminator 2 or Total Recall. He had a huge heart, and he was one of the most generous guys around. I’ll miss him. My thoughts are with his family

One of the greatest Action film producers and a may loved by all. The Action film industry mourns the death of the legend.
