Trailer of Fox Trot Six

Indonesia has been making bold movies on the Action Map. After the success of The Raid , the world stood up and noticed Indonesia as a key player in contributing to the Action genre and soon some of hollywood’s bigwigs made their way there to produce.

The latest added to the list is Producer Mario Kassar. Kassar, former head of Carolco, has credits including “Rambo,” “Terminator 2: Judgment Day,”  “Stargate,” and the original “Total Recall is now producing Fox Trot Six.

Though not much is known of the film seeing the teaser one can tell that the film deals with a group of special forces who get ambushed. Where , how, by who and why is not revealed .

$10 million the budget is a co-venture between newly established production companies Rapid Eye Pictures and East West Synergy.

Indonesia films are made on a budget of close to 2 million Max. The reason for the spend is that kassar want s this film to appeal to a wider audience internationally and has decided to add scale to the film to generate a generous off shore scale.

The film is co-produced by Ario Sagantoro, who produced “The Raid” and “The Raid 2. Yayan Ruhian who plays mad dog in the Raid has designed the fight choreography.

The cast includes Oka Antara, Verdi Soelaiman, Arifin Putra,  Mike Lewis, Chicco Jerikho, Rio Dewanto, Edward Akbar, Miller Khan, Gisellma Aulasajidah, Julie Estelle, and Aurélie Moeremans. It’s directed by Indonesian director Randy Korompis

The film is in post production and is Scheduled to release next year.
