Thai Action Cinema Sure got on the map with Ong Bak. Though it s been around forever, it’s the least popular south east Asian film industry. It was late master panna ritikrai that got the industry back into focus and made Tony Jaa an international Star.
The industry has gone through it’s up’s and down however the latest offering is rather interesting. The legend of the broken Sword Hero Star’s Buakaw Banchamek A K1 and Muay Thai champion he was last seen in The Samurai of Ayothaiya . Buakaw has shown his performance’s enough to get a Starring role for himself.
The Film tells the story of a 18 th century warrior who fought with one and a half swords to save him empire. What really stands out in the trailer is the way each shot takes you back to the history of the warrior.
Though Thai films don’t have big budgets they can still bring out some decent action, as the actors are mostly very high level martial artists. The Film is sure to find a release in the domestic market in sometime next year.
We at amdb.in wish the entire team all the best.
