We said it first that out of all the movies opening on 29th of February Baaghi 2 would be the number 1 film in India and we were right.
Baaghi 2 opened along with the much awaited Ram charan Starrer Su kumar directed Rangasthlam and boy did the Baaghi smash Rangastalam
Baaghi 2 opened to a monster 25 crs day 1 then too in 21 day to and a monster 27 plus day 3 it currently stands at 73 crs first frame domestic. Making it the 15 th highest opening ever.
Rangasthalam though did very well and opened to fewer screens than Baaghi 2 did a business of Rs 37.40 crore from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana it added another Rs 4.8 crore and Rs 1.3 crore from rest of the country making it a grand total of 43.50 crs way behind Baaghi.
However in America it has put up massive numbers and has almost made 1.3 million first frame.
Baaghi 2 will not fall more than 40 % on Monday from it’s debut and should easily take in 15 crs , it ‘s well on it’s way to doing a business of 100 crs before the week ends and with no big release coming in the coming week Baaghi 2 is set for a dream run. The film will end it’s run in the range of a 160 to 170 crs life time domestic.
As for Rangasthalam since the film will finish it’s domestic run at 80 crs.
