Jason Statham is Back with his latest outing and this time he’s taking on his biggest opponent ever A presumed extent Megalodon .
Directed by Jon Turtletaub and Produced by legendary Action film producer Lorenzo Di bonaventura The meg is based on Steve Atlen’s Novel with the same name.
A deep-sea submersible—part of an international undersea observation program—is attacked by a massive creature, previously thought to be extinct, and now lies disabled at the bottom of the deepest trench in the Pacific…with its crew trapped inside. With time running out, expert deep sea rescue diver Jonas Taylor is recruited by visionary Chinese oceanographer Dr. Minway Zhang, against the wishes of his daughter Suyin, to save the crew from this unstoppable threat: a pre-historic 75-foot-long shark known as the Megalodon.
What no one could have imagined is that, years before, Taylor had encountered this same terrifying creature. Now, teamed with Suyin, he must confront his fears and risk his own life to save everyone trapped below…bringing him face to face once more with the greatest and largest predator of all time.
The film is distributed by Warner bros and seeing the trailer the film does give you the feel of Steve Speilberg’s Jaws.
The trailer starts off extremely well but soon it starts loosing steam and it ends on an extremely average note.
This is statham’s big franchise and we hope it recoups it’s enormous budget
We at amdb.in wish the entire team all the very best.
