There were rumors of Sly Stallone and Legendary Action film producer Avi Lerner having a fallout. Avi who is one of the biggest independent producers in Hollywood resurrected the career of Stallone when he gave him Rambo and then again gave him The Expendables Franchise , however Stallone didn’t want to work on Expendables 4 and that caused a rift between the dynamic Actor producer ratio.
However soon good sense prevailed over stallone and he returned to the Expendables franchise, not only that we have now learn’t that he will star in the 5th installment of the Rambo franchises as well.
Rambo is one of the most iconic Characters in AMerican Cinema History whenever there has been trouble John Rambo has come to the aid wither there is trouble in Nam or Afghanistan Rambo has been there and the 5th time will be no different.
In the fifth episode of the franchise, when the daughter of one of his friends is kidnapped, Rambo, who has been working on a ranch, crosses the U.S.-Mexican border and quickly finds himself up against the full might of one of Mexico’s most violent cartels.
Avi Lerner’s Millennium is launching sales on the project in Cannes with a tentative shoot date set for September of this year. Stallone is understood to be working on the screenplay and obviously lerner will produce.
The film is hot and in a Market which attracts the most international buyers in Cannes Stallone and Lerner should raise a good presale to Start the film in September.
