Batwoman already has been a torch bearer for LGBT representation in comics. After a long no show, she was reintroduced to the DC comic universe in 2006 when she was established as a Jewish lesbian.
Casting is about to begin for an actress to play Batwoman and a number of high profile names are coming up.
