The Second trailer of Captive State has arrived does it keep to the hype the film has generated let’s find out .
Post apocalyptic films and SIFI actioners have always been the first choice for America Cinema and a Director Rupert Wyatt seems to be the right person to drive the SIFI Actioner Captive state.
For those of you who are not familiar with Rupert’s Work , Rupert has directed Mark Wahlburg in the 2014 film the gambler and has also worked on the Helo Series on Television along with Rise of the Planet of the Apes.
Captive State is Set in a Chicago when a neighborhood is occupied by a group of Extra terrestrial beings , Captive State explores the lives on both sides of the conflict – the collaborators and dissident.
The Second trailer show’s the main protagonist a teenage African American boy , who’s heading the resistance to take down the Alien invasion and anyone who’s aligned with then.
The film is produced by David Crockett and Rupert Wyatt.
The film is distributed by Focus Features a subsidiary of NBC Universal . The film Stars John Goodman , Goodman a veteran in the film industry was last seen in Michael Bay’s Transformer The last night.
The film is all set to hit theaters in March 2019 and being made on a budget of 25 million dollars the film has received 500 trend tracks with an Average B +score. The first trailer was looking at a 7.5 million first frame , however the Second trailer has seen a 2 million dollar spike in the numbers and could easily see the film open to 9.5 million to 10 million first frame.
The numbers are amazing considering the budget of the film , the film could easily finish it’s domestic run at 30 million , making the film a winner for all.
