We recently announced that GI Joe was having a spin off . Though both the film were moderate successes and did close to 700 million world wide the franchise didnt spend the merchandising business into a tizzy . Hasbro decided they wanted to hold off before launching a third installment.
Now finally they have a spin off in play on one of the most interesting Characters in the Joe Universe the Mysterious Snake eyes. Though we broke the news earlier it ‘s now that the casting has fallen into place.
Crazy Rich Asians star Henry Golding is set to star in Paramount’s G.I. Joe spinoff Snake Eyes. It makes sense since the actor in question has previously worked with John M cho in Crazy rich and John has directed GI Joe retaliation.
Robert Schwentke the guy who directed Red Eye and the infamous RIPD along with Insurgent is all set to direct the feature film that is prooduced by Hasbro CEO Bryan Goldner.
Snake Eyes is special mercenary on the G.I. Joe armed forces, specifically a ninja commando who was taken in by his master and trained to be the perfect soldier.
GI Joe has an Arch nemesis in Storm Shadow the two Studied in the Same DOJO and were trained to be righteous however Storm Shadow turned evil and starting working for the main villian of the comic Cobra.
The film is hot, people and fan’s love snake eyes and one can’t wait to see what the adaptation of this mysterious character will be.
