Sam Raimi all set to direct Doctor Strange.

Sam Raimi the man who directed the first 3 Spiderman films and revamped the franchise is all set to direct his next super Hero franchise.

Raimi is all set to direct “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” for Marvel Studios. Raimi replaces original director Scott Derrickson, who had officially left  the project due to creative differences.

However Derrickson will remain as an executive producer as per his contract. Raimi seems to be the right choice as h Raimi’s reputation with comic book and Super Hero Fan’s .

Spider-Man 2 is still widely regarded as one of the best superhero movies ever made. And with 15 features to his name as a director — including the beloved horror trilogy The Evil Dead, Evil Dead II and  Army of Darkness.

Marvel is looking to pull more serious film makers into the fold with their plans to keep expanding the cinematic Universe.

Benedict Cumberbatch is returning as the Sorcerer Supreme after his 2016 debut, and subsequent appearances in “Thor: Ragnarok,” “Avengers: Infinity War,” and “Avengers: Endgame.”

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” is scheduled to open on May 7, 2021.
