Indonesian action fight choreographer Yayan Ruhian – best known from both The Raid films – toplines Takashi Miike’s(Crow’s Zero) Yakuza Apocalypse: The Great War of the Underworld, Hayato Ichihara stars in Miike’s return to msin stream genre filmmaking in what’s being billed as the world’s first yakuza vampire movie.
Scripted by Yoshitaka Yamaguchi, Yakuza Apocalypse stars Ichihara as a yakuza underling who discovers his boss is a bloodsucker, only to get bitten himself before going up against a gang of deadly international assassins.
