Ajay Devgn is an extremely popular Bollywood Action Star who has Numerous hit films to his name. He made his Directorial Debut with an un official remake of The Note book and the film Sank at the Box Office. Devgn is back once again with his second outing. An Action Thriller titled ” SHIVAAY”
A brief history on the film , the film is Mr. Devgn’s Passion Project and it has been in the news for a while with multiple Studio’s coming on and going off the film. Finally Pen a production company came on to see Mr. Devgn’s Vision through. The wait is over, the trailer is out. Let’s See if the trailer was worth the wait.
To Start with , the trailer doesn’t give you much Idea of the Storyline, It show’s Mr. Devgn ( who’s also Starring in it) running around with a child reciting Shlokhas from the Holi Hindu Scripture. But whatever little one can make out it does give you a feel of Lian Neeson Starrer “TAKEN” .The Mountain Settings can make even the poorest of Films look Grand So Devgn with his budget allowance has managed to capture the snow Cap mountains very well, Thumbs up to the DOP.
Coming to the Action, Stunt Co-Odinator Stephan Richter along with Germany EX Action Concept member Ramadan have managed to pull of some decent sequences even though the execution is not perfect, its still impressive. A special Mention to Key Rigger Christian of G Action for some amazing Rigging work.
The VFX of the film is Average, while some parts are decent, the fire work and the Avalanche is done extremely badly.
On the Whole the trailer is a decent watch, the film will definitely open well at the Box Office, but wither it will be a hit really depends on what the film costs.
