Balakrishna a major superstar in the Telugu film Industry is back with his 100th film. A superstar that has stood the test of time and has floated over the tide of the change in leadership in the South Industry. He’s durable and still bankable.
His 100th outing is a Magnum opus , titled Gautami Satakarni a film based on the ruler of the Satavahana Empire in modern day Deccan. The film tells the tale of Gautami the ruler out to fight with the Yavana’s.
The film is directed by Krish who latest directed Akshay Kumar Starrer Gabbar. Though the film has a big canvas the Visual Effects done by prime Focus is a major let down . The lighting is off and the crowd multiplication is extremely tacky.
A film of this stature needs to have a extremely high level of Visual effects and that was not achieved .
The action by Ram Lakshman is pretty routine, and heavily inspired from Colin Farell’s Alexander . It’s not the fault of the stunt coordinators , Lack of knowledge leads to repetitions in the style.
Bala Krishna enjoys a major fan following still and I’m sure the film will open well.
We at amdb.in wish the entire team all the best.
