After many years, and many attempts, Stephen King’s fantasy horror epic, The Dark Tower has become a film. The adaptation is about a Gun Slinger, Idris Elba, travelling through different worlds to stop the evil man in black, performed phenomenally by Matthew McConaughey.
Both Stephen King and the movie’s director and co-writer, Nikolaj Arcel, have decided to begin adapting the fantasy adventure that consists of eight novels, assorted comic books and short stories.
The film has been delayed twice in the last few months, but now The Dark Tower will definitely be releasing in the first week of August.
The trailer is action heavy and has the most brilliant special effects. Watch it for the gun slinging, the bullet juggling in the trailer is fantastic, and the mid-air catch, amazing.
