Marvel is on a roll currently both in Cinema’s and OTT platforms . With it’s success of the defenders ( OTT version of The Avengers) Marvel has now added another name to the list of The Defenders. He’s the Punisher.
A lot of Actors have tried to portray the Character in the past on big screen but have not had any success with making the Film or Character Franchise worth. Well things are about to change as John Berenthal breaths life into the Frank Castle aka THE PUNISHER.
The Set up is Frank Castle, known throughout New York City as “the punisher ” is another Shadowed vigilante ( like Arrow , Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Dare devil . However the Punisher is very serious in personality as he lost his family in a killing after punishing and exacting revenge on those responsible for the death of his family, The Punisher uncovers a larger conspiracy beyond what was done to him and his family.
The trailer is a hit from the word go. Right from the time the actors Started marketing it at comic cons fans can’t wait to see this Series and from the looks of it it’s going to rate higher than the defenders. Which FYI is the highest rated show on Netflix rating even higher than house of Cards. This is one of the many reasons that prove even further that action is the most sought after genre in the World.
