South Koreans love their Action films and with a little bit of Fantasy involved that’s an icing on their Cake. Fulfilling their Sweet Cravings is Director Kim Yong Hwa’s Along with the Gods.
Starring Hai Jung Woo the film tells the tale of an ordinary man named Ja Hong and Kang Rim , the head grim reaper who escorts Ja Hong to the afterlife, where he assign a public defender to represent him in 7 trials in 49 days to find out how he lived his life and where he ought to spend the rest of eternity.
Produced by Won Dong-yeon, Realies Pictures and Dexter Studios the film has some lovely visuals and some taking of the Action especially the slide is very well executed.
Distributed by Lotte Entertainment the film is set to hit theaters in South Korea on the 20th of December.
